I’m often asked about the titles of my images, and where they come from. Usually they play at an emption I am feeling, or something that inspires an emotion. Even sometimes from a story or fable that the scene or composition reminded me of. They don’t always come to me right away, but the ones that do usually struck something deep within me and I feel like if you can sum the story of how it came to be in just the word itself that it can add so much to the image for me. When I’m old and forgetful, hopefully the titles will transport me back. The word or words aren’t always obvious in meaning, in fact they can often be cryptic, bordering on an inside joke that only I know the punchline to. This is how I celebrate my small victories, wallow in my sorrows or bask in the now. Perhaps after knowing this you could surmise a bit about me, or even the meaning behind this images title? ===================================
