Remember when planking everywhere on everything was a thing? 🤣 
Plank done in proper form is a great total body move. Amazing for core strength, which I'm trying to build back up after my whole midsection was stretched out for months. Hold the plank but not your breath, keep breathing through the shaking and burning. ⠀

My inner peace is much more important than anything else in this world. I don't want to prove myself right or someone else wrong. 
Trust me it takes a lot of energy and cost you inner peace.
It took me really long to reach such stage where I prefer not to answer rather than involving myself in unneccessary drama.
My simple rule is to live my life and let others live until unless their thoughts and vibes don't impact me.
If I feel I am getting affected I slightly part my ways.
The world would be a better place if people accept others as the way they are without passing judgments.
Appreciate the things you like; if not, minding your own way is the best therapy.

После насыщенных переживаний, после прожитых эмоций, ярких впечатлений (особенно в поездках, когда одни эмоции перекрывают другие в короткий срок) я наблюдаю за собой. Если ум что-то ненужное со временем стирает, то тело хранит в себя всё. И именно поэтому важно тяжёлые переживания из тела выпускать.

После Освенцима для меня было необходимо позаботиться о теле. Очистить ум и тело.

🧘🏼‍♀️ Йогой. Я посвятила свою практику всем погибшим и своему телу, чтобы оно не копило боль, а взяло этот опыт в жизнь.
И практика лилась.

Санкальпа - намерение в практике. Важная установка, которая сделает вашу практику эффективной. Писала уже об этом. Найду пост про санкальпу и продублирую его сегодня в сторис.

Если практикуете, не забывайте об этом. И, конечно, не забывайте о своем теле. Любая ссора, любая непрожитая эмоция, любой разговор - все хранит тело. Посмотрите на него со стороны. Есть ли в нем зажатости? Мягкое ли тело, плавное, теплое? Здоровое ли?

SOBRE EL AMOR

Osho habla del amor :

1.-El corazón del hombre es un instrumento musical, contiene una música grandiosa. Dormida, pero está allí, esperando el momento apropiado para ser interpretada, expresada, cantada, danzada. Y es a través del amor que el momento llega.

Un hombre sin amor nunca conocerá qué música ha estado llevando dentro de su corazón. Es sólo a través del amor que la música comienza a tomar vida, se despierta y deja de ser un potencial para convertirse en realidad. 
2.-Preguntas: "¿Qué es amor?" Es una profunda necesidad de ser uno con el todo, una profunda necesidad de disolver en una unidad el tú y el yo. El amor es así porque estamos separados de nuestra propia fuente. De esa separación surge el deseo de volver al Todo y de unificarse con El. "

3.-Tu ego se ha convertido en una barrera entre tú y tu tierra: el Todo. El hombre se asfixia, no puede respirar, ha perdido sus raíces. Ya no es alimentado. El amor es un deseo de nutrición; el amor es enraizarse en la existencia .

4.-El amor en uno mismo es valioso: no tiene ningún propósito, no tiene ningún fin.

Tiene una inmensa significación; una gran alegría; un éxtasis en sí mismo, pero estos no son fines. El amor no es un negocio donde importan los propósitos, las metas. Siempre hay una cierta locura en el amor.... El amor no tiene razón alguna. Simplemente puedes decir : "No sé . Todo lo que sé es que amar es experimentar el espacio más hermosos dentro de uno mismo." Pero eso no es un propósito. Ese espacio no es mental. Ese espacio no puede ser convertido en una comodidad. Este espacie es como un capullo de rosa con una gota de rocío sobre sí brillando como una perla. Y con la primera brisa de la mañana y al sol, el capullo está bailando.

El amor es la danza de tu vida.

5.- Amor es el encuentro, el encuentro orgásmico de la vida y la muerte .... Para alcanzarlo, hay cuatro pasos que deben recordarse.

El primero: estar aquí y ahora, porque el amor sólo es posible en el "aquí-ahora". No puedes amar en el pasado.

El segundo paso hacia el amor es: aprende a transformar tus venenos en miel... El tercer paso hacia el amor es compartir tus cosas positivas, compartir tu vida ...

Exactly 6 years ago I moved to Denver. I moved into a house I hadn’t even seen in real life with some girls I had only just met. It turned out to be a really beautiful experience and now have two sisters from it. 😘😘 @kierellef @gracieminniece 
Moving to Denver was one of the best decisions I’ve made so far. I’ve made really meaningful friendships here. I’ve grown and learned so much. I’ve deepened my spiritual practice and yoga practice immensely. Feeling super grateful today and excited for what’s more to come. 🙏🏽 Sending gratitude to all my people I’ve met along the way. Yoga = a happier state of being. Meaning union: union of mind, body, prana and your true self when you commit to fully surrendering ✨. Last night we ran our first workshop in a beautiful new space 😍. We focused on removing the armour that is built up around our hearts to protect ourselves. How often do we do that ? We became EXTREMELY vulnerable, thanks to a beautiful heart connection that @desnatlia guided us through! We experienced cosmic breath that @shaifalixo brought to us from her mother land... then moved our bodies through gentle asanas to create space, reorganize and ground our energy. Finally landing in a blissful anahata meditation along with a gentle aromatherapy massage that left us raw and open ♥️♥️♥️✨. What a beautiful night! Thank you lovelies!  Hope to be doing this monthly 🙏🏻

As I approach our 10 year wedding anniversary(17 years together) I catch myself reflecting on it all. We all know love isn’t perfect. It isn’t a fairytale or a storybook and it doesn’t always come easy. Love is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to defined, and impossible to live without. Love is work, but most of all, love is realizing that every hour, every minute, every second of it was worth it because we have done it together. As I approach our 10 year wedding anniversary(17 years together) I catch myself reflecting on it all. We all know love isn’t perfect. It isn’t a fairytale or a storybook and it doesn’t always come easy. Love is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. I wanted to hand upside Dow on a branch to do my splits but then I thought it might not be a good idea 🤔🤕🚑🏥 😅 so I went with this instead. Still upside down but a little safer 😁

FACT: The smallest monkey in the world is the pygmy marmoset, with a body as little as 5 inches (12 cm) and a tail length of about 7 inches (17 cm). As a comparison, they are about the size of a hamster, can fit in the palm of a human hand, and they weigh the same as a pack of cards (you can see one on the second picture).
They can leap 15 feet (around 5 meters) into the air 🙉 !!!

So all that squating picking berries didn't really do good for my back.. when I got home I had something to eat and took a shower and chilled a bit and ouch not nice so spent 2 hours on my mat with yoga balls, bolster, blankets and blocks and fixed the problems 👌🏻😌♥️ a combination of yin, therapeutic and restorative yoga that I probably will do again tomorrow outside my flow practise 💙🌸☀️

Teaching. I never expected myself to be a yoga teacher. But here I am, teaching 4-5 classes a week... and I’ve only been certified for 6 months. 
There’s something about rolling out my mat in front of a studio full of people that is so exciting. Whether it’s the energy in the room, and/or knowing that these people came for my class.. it’s one of the best feelings. 
My teachers always told me to share my light, that I’d find my own way of teaching and my own voice. And I think I have. 
Being a yoga teacher has so many benefits besides being able to do a lot of yoga.. I get to see my students grow as yogis, because of their personal work and my guiding as a teacher. I get to witness new yogis falling in love with the practice after their first class. I get to meet and befriend so many amazing humans. 
Being a yogi in general is amazing. There are way too many benefits for your mind body and soul to count. 
Yoga isn’t just a workout or another type of exercise... yoga is a way of living. A way of living that I love, to share and to experience. 
If you’ve never tried yoga I seriously recommend it, it’s changed my life and many others💛 #yogateacher

瑜伽輪之所以能成為學生最喜愛的瑜伽工具,當然是因為它能幫助學生打開胸椎、在安全情況下增強後彎的伸展。那麼你又知道瑜伽輪的來源嗎?

瑜伽輪正正是Dharma Mittra (是次工作坊導師Daphne之師)所創立。1978年,經過幾年在課堂上使用自製圓環的經驗後,Mittra為了打開上背並伸展整個身體,用厚重的工業用樹脂玻璃精心製作了世上的第一個瑜伽輪。他每天在教室裡試驗這個新工具的可能性,並發展出各式各樣的應用。時至今天,瑜伽輪已發生由不同物料所製成,也有不3個尺寸的瑜伽輪,方便不同身體狀況同學生。甚至,為了讓年老的學生或後彎有困難的學生,Mittra的太太Eva也發明了有護墊的半輪,令其他有需要的人提供更多的支撐,享受瑜伽輪的樂趣。

感謝Daphne導師是次舉辦工作坊,讓我們有更多機會了解瑜伽輪的真諦。

Each time we had to transition, and we were in downward facing dog, @yogawithbriohny asked us to jump forward and over that hurdle. First to accept it, to greet it and acknowledge its presence in our life, then to wish it our very best and finally to let it go thereby overcoming it ! It comes from reconnecting the mind to the body. ⭐️Embodiment ⭐️ That comes from regulating the nervous system through the inherent practices of awareness, interoception, breath, and connection

We as yoga teachers, need to flaunt that!

Let’s take a minute to recognize the power of what these practices do.  They embody us, they offer us tools to self-regulate our own nervous system. That is power.

We may get lost sometimes focusing on optimal alignment or movement variability, or using yoga asana as a vehicle for “flexibility” or strength.  But yoga is So. Much. More.  You can find your strength and flexibility anywhere really, in any movement practice.  That’s the intention with them.

The power, the intention of yoga is firstly the connection to oneself. That’s what separates it from the other modalities we love, pilates, cross-fit, running.

Often I have been asked how I learned to sit on my bun.
.
First of all, I have a body structure that facilitate the process. In fact, my torso is quite short compared to my legs, which makes easier for me to bend deeply. For taller people, or people with long torso perhaps it might take more practice.

Here two exercises inspired by my contortion practice.

Exercise 1️⃣
Chin stand with a block underneath the chin
This is an advanced exercise and shouldn't be practiced if you can't hold your chin stand yet.
Chest on the floor
Legs Overhead
Relax and sink deeper at each breath
Breathe x 10 times

Puppy pose using two blocks underneath the chin
This is a great way to improve your upper back flexibility

Being married to a #chiropractor has its benefits.  Sore back?  Throw some @rocktape on it!  My husband has been using this for YEARS, on my sore bits & pieces and I can’t love it ENOUGH.  Even though it’s not clinically proven for all injuries, I’ve found that using this as a therapeutic tool for healing, along with safe movement practices, really does provide essential fitness support for my body! Everyone who knows me describes me as driven and I succeed because I never want to stop working on my dreams - but sometimes I get exhausted from pushing for constant results.

La fase de Luna llena 🌕 es uno de los momentos más fuertes a nivel energético que nos altera a nivel emocional y nos descentra. Se sabe que la luna llena influencia en las mareas. Una gran parte de nuestra composición corporal es agua por lo que no es de extrañar que también sintamos esa influencia en nosotros a nivel físico, emocional y energético. Por eso la práctica recomendada para estos días es más lenta, calmada y enraizante buscando equilibrarnos y centrarnos de nuevo.

I’m 100% guilty of taking life too seriously sometimes! It’s all about catching those feelings before they manifest into thoughts and actions and the best way I deal with these moments is by allowing myself time to stop and PLAY! Playing with movement is medicine and animal flow is so much fun! Fire in the belly, heart is full! Aaaahhhh bless these bones 🦴😂
