This month, we've had so much positivity coming from our community that we're slightly dismayed by more than one recent complaint about “rude pass holders.” We understand that emotions are running high. That getting exercise may feel like the only thing keeping you sane. But please do not forget your humanity. Please remember that we are all going through something right now. Every day we get to spend outside is a privilege. Every day we have been able to groom is a privilege.
This is the time for compassion.
We appreciate that our community is passionate and even, perhaps, protective of the trails at Tahoe XC. But rudeness does not represent us, our community, or our mission.
If you are seeking solitude through exercise, please remember to be kind. If you're having a hard time, so are others.
Our last day of grooming will be Sunday, April 12th, conditions permitting. Thank you for your ongoing support. We could not have continued to groom without you.
Until then, please continue to practice vigilant physical distancing, reduce unnecessary travel, and above else, be kind to one another. We are all in this together.
Thank you for another outstanding season,
The team at Tahoe XC
