GOOD MORNING

Sorry I know it's been a while since I posted. I had a moment of weakness like we all do and I gained back some of the weight I lost. It's been 3 weeks since my last public weigh in and I'm pleased to say I've made progress again.

This weigh in is a total loss of 600g from last week (remember I gained weight). I feel both happy and disappointed. Happy because 600g is still a significant amount to lose in a week and disappointed because I could have lost way more by now had I not relapsed and lost my control over my eating.

It's good though because it reminds me I dont want to feel this way and lose progress again so I will focus harder on my journey from this point onwards 😊

I know, that as you're sitting at home so much 🏡📱💻📺, it's really challenging to your body to stay in the proper form all day and functional properly, right?
Do you have back pain sometimes? Stiffed legs? Tight hips? Yeaaah, I know...😩

So, if you do/did have any of them, I'd recommend couple of dynamic stretches during the day sometimes and at the beginning of your workout - if you work out.💪

The session shouldn't be really long, just chose 2-3 of them and do around 6-8 times. ⏱️

Before I had children my weight fluctuated between 68-70kgs. I was a size 10/12. This was a good 10 years ago now. My goal isn't a number on the scale; as most of you know bodies change over time. My body has definitely changed after birthing 3 beautiful babies. Instead i want to focus on how my clothes fit, how my body feels, how my mental health is and how i love what i see. This fitness journey isnt about losing lots of weight but about becoming healthier and fitter and loving myself again. I have set a weight target to hit of between 70-74kgs but how I measure my success will be determined by much more than a number on the scale 😊

At the end of the day, I look back and wonder what I even did!! 🤣 .
I challenge you to better yourself. Make time, if you have more time because of the pandemic. .
Better yourself. Inside and out!! Mentally and physically! Nutrition, exercise, and personal development. .
Honestly, this has gotten me through tougher times, easier and with a more positive outlook. If you are struggling, there are so many of us here for you. 😘

Do you like milk? 😀 If you wonder, how it comes for glutes workout, it's simply because we're going to use 2 jugs of milk for that (okkkay, it can be water💦🥛 too or anything else as weights😅).

It's really nice, if you do squats and lunges over and over again but if you wanna see some results, you need weights for progressive overloading - it's true for any other muscle too.🏋️‍♀️ On the other hand, if you don't like lifting/taking extra weights, keep upping the reps/sets in your workouts over time to consistently challenge your muscles.💪

Today's workout is absolutely a killer one, I definitely had the burn after this!🔥🔥🔥

2️⃣LATERAL LUNGE TO FRONT RAISE➡️brace your core, don't swing the "weights" but control the movement

Honestly, I’ve been in a rut for awhile. Workouts still happening daily but like always...nutrition has been up and down. .
Figured this is a perfect time for a challenge to get my mindset back on track....especially since found out getting furloughed after next week! .
Can’t say I don’t have the time right?!!! Have a couple girls clean eating with me, keeping each other accountable.  one mentioned the #75hardchallenge so I figured why not!!! Well... screwed up after 3 weeks and 2 days which is awesome for me!! I haven’t made it 3 weeks without cheating in 2 years at least!!! 🤣

So it’s day 5 again and starting the #miraclemorningroutine today!! Just got to get some things written down!!!

Little lax today, so went with my norm. Shake with spinach, steamed veggies, granola, air fryer tofu with taziki sauce.

Even eating vegan, there is soooo many processed and packaged foods out there. I did my best to steer clear of many of those.

Definitely will add more vegan meals to my weeks ahead.

To fix a car or keep your car running optimally, you need the right tools. Pretty obvious.

Investing in  the tools you need to do the job is still cheaper than having someone else fix it....right?!

So how is our health any different? Our bodies need to be functioning pretty well so we can get up, go to work, feed our kids, do all we have to do to make it through the day.

I don’t know about you but I can’t afford to get sick or injured!! I don’t want to pay for pills to treat illness and cause side effects, I don’t want a hospital stay, I want to set an example, be active for my family, and to be able to perform my job. .
We aren’t perfect. But we can invest in ourselves, take care of ourselves, prevent things we can prevent, to stay as healthy as we can be for as long as we can.

I was drinking 3, 20oz bottles a day. .
If you think about it.... that is almost a full day of calories in your body that have no nutritional value. Let alone it averaged to about $6 a day. Yikes!!!

It added weight, sugar cravings, skin problems..... and the list goes on.

It took many tries but I quit. We CAN do hard things!! 🤣🤣
