This morning while waiting for the school bus, we read two books 📚 . Eden picked them herself 😍 One of our morning read is the book in the picture above ☺
In this little Baby Einstein board book "What does Violet See?" suitable from 6months to 4years, Violet set out to explore her environment using her binoculars. Binoculars make everything look close and big and it's so much fun!
Eden has a little toy binoculars she got in one of her gift packs from her Sweet Big Mummy @joyful_aderele
. She had been playing with it carelessly, but today, I decided our book was a good opportunity to teach her to use it. So, after reading and gushing at the pictures (we literally gush at them 😂) we set out to create our own fun. ☺ Eden was able to for the first time use her binoculars to view her surroundings, she identified the gate and a bird just before her school bus arrived. Of course, she insisted on taking the binoculars to school. Guess what? The book was the first thing she picked upon her return! 😂
It's important to follow your toddler's lead and don't be too focused on reading that you forget they need to learn. The best way toddler's learn is through play, so make every reading time certified fun and you'll have them coming back for more! 😋 Do you know I still read two more books to her this afternoon? She brought them herself to me and said "Mummy read!" ☺ I always say, there's so much to find in a book. In just one book, you can find peekaboo, a song, silly faces, numbers count, role play, choreography, the list goes on and on...Beyond just reading the words engage your child, play, have fun and you'll be amazed at how much they'll learn!
I hope this helps @littlelicious_cup_cake
. Dear Parents and Guardians please share your reading successes and challenges let's learn together.
