วันนี้วันเสาร์ ออกจากบ้านไปตลาดเช้ากับแม่ ได้แวะเยาวราชของอุบลมา ได้ของโปรดมาอย่างนึง นั่นก็คือบ๊ะจ่างจากคุณยายตัวเล็กๆในร้านเล็กๆริมถนน ด้วยราคาเล็กๆแค่ 20 บาท แบบงงๆไม่เคยเห็นบ๊ะจ่าง 20 บาท ก็ซื้อมาแบบไม่ได้คาดหวังอะไร อยากอุดหนุนคุณยายแล้วได้กินของโปรดด้วย ปรากฎว่าหน้าตาดีเชียว รสชาติก็ดีเกินยี่สิบบาท คุณยายก็ยิ้มแย้ม เราก็แฮปปี้แล้วกับเช้านี้ วันนี้อย่าลืมยิ้มให้กับตัวเองนะคะทุกคน สู้ๆค่ะ❤️

Today’s harvest from the patch: pumpkin, sweet potato, cucumber, eggplant, silverbeet, cherry tomato, rocket, butter lettuce and dill. Not bad seeing as I wasn’t intending on harvesting anything today and the garden is in low production atm because I’m currently planting everything out for my Autumn/Winter crop. 
Nice salad for lunch and something hearty for dinner I think 😋

Chiliwokki Aasian mauilla!

Kanafile, jonka mie suikaloin edellisenä iltana jääkaappiin muhimaan tuoreen inkiväärin- ja valakosipuliraasteen kans.
 Olisko molempia ollu semmonen vaijjaa ruokalusikallinen. 
Lorruuttelin sinne sekkaan soija- ja osterikastiketta ja lisäsin kuivattua chiliä ja kahenlaista mausteseosta, jotka maistuu aasialailaiselle. Mie olen ne joskus ostanu Liiteristä. Vielä siihen marinaatiin seesamiiöljyä ja pikkusen sitruunaa. 
Seuraavana päivänä mie suikaloin valamiiksi porkkannaa, sipulia, herkkusieniä, vähän kesäkurpitsaa ja irrottelin sopivan kokosia  parsakaalin nuppuja  valmiiksi paistettavaksi.

Laitoin muuten tumman riisin kiiehummaan, ko siinä mennee aikaa se puolituntia, että se valamistuu.Anna sen kiehua 10-15 min. ja ala sitten vasta wokkaamaan.

Otin sen kanan jääkaapista huoneenlämpöön jo aikasemmin ja kuumensin seesamiölöjyn pannula tosi kuumaksi. Sie voit ihan hyvin käyttää auringonkukkaölöjyäki, mutta seesamista tullee enempi  semmonen aasialainen maku.

Heitin kananpalat kuumaan ölöjyyn, paistoin se valmiiksi ja nostin syrjään.

Sitten mie lisäsin samale pannule ensin porkkanat, heiluttelin niitä siinä vähän aikaa. Seuraavaksi herkkusienten vuoro. Muutama  pyöräytys kauhala ja vähitellen loputki kasvikset . Laita vimpaksi se kesäkurpitsa, ko se kypsyy nopiasti. Pannun pittää olla kuuma ja kato  että siinä on ölöjyä. 
Kasviksia ei tarvi paistaa mössöksi vaan jätä niihin suuntuntummaa ja rapsakkuutta. Tänneki voi vähän lorruutella sitä soijaa ja kalakastiketta! Mie laitoin lopuksi vielä vähän vettä. 
Tämä on aika pikanen vaihe! Kun sie näet ja maistat, että kasvikset on valamiiita, niin laita sinne ne kananpalat. 
Vielä lopuksi mie suurustin sen pannula  olevan nesteen tililkala maissijauhoa, jonka mie sekotin vetteen.

Ai perhana ko hiveli makunystyröitä!

Häätyypi sanoa että hyvvää oli!

If you cut off the tops they will grow back. And if you plant them you can continue to cut them off almost indefinitely. Insane. This ensures you to always have onions around and available for all of your cooking needs and I’ve been cooking a lot these days. I’m cooking roughly 7 more days a week than I formerly was 😉 😆 !! It’s also more sustainable so three cheers for that!⠀

We had a tremendous Saturdays Certified Farmers Market last week!
Very fruitful and safe!
With farmers market being an essential business, as lined up by the governor’s order, we are excited to have our farmers market - Saturday Market by the River tomorrow morning! Come on by get outside, be safe and get some amazing fruits and vegetables!

Since we are a small, open air market we will operate our normal hours. We will be spacing booths father apart and asking that customers don’t handle the produce. Many farmers will be pre-bagging when possible. 
The market manager will have hand sanitizer and gloves available if anyone needs/wants them. 
We look forward to providing healthy local food to our community.
