OKARA: The leftover "pulp" from making soy milk or tofu. High in protein, fibre, calcium, and potassium. Can be used as a replacement for heavy flours, or nut "meals", and works great in baked goods, like these Nutty Okara Snack Bars 😊😊
I usually make my own okara, but I've heard you can get it from asian grocery stores - will keep you updated on this 👌 But I'm so interested in working with it more! Always keen to try something new 😉 How about you guys? Would you try okara? Let me know in the comments!
