このクラスでも、大地に根差す足裏(足部)をしっかりと意識します。
五大元素の「地」の要素。 「地」から「空」への伸び「風」を、そして変化に対応できる能力「水」、そこから新たにチャレンジする力「火」。 .
これらは身体配置:アライメントにも使う大事な要素です。.
. . 「空」:space.
「風」:stretch.
「火」:step forward .
「水」:adaptable.
「地」:stability

これらは、それぞれの要素が教えてくれる事の、ほんの一部です。

今回は、主に「地」と「風」に
フォーカスします。

ヨガと五大元素を用いて、動くことで心と身体がつながる感覚を、感じで頂きたいです。

May 20 of #BalanScience challenge pose is baby #vasistasana. The variation is done on your forearm.  I only held the forearm version for a baby second. The extended arm version is so much easier.  I’m always happy with anything I can do in yoga! I celebrate even the microsecond holds! 😆

Good to practice @abhayayoga again ✨... just me, Shiva, and my laptop with our zoom students.  We practiced finding inner core and support principles leading to strength and adaptability pose to pose.  Class concluded with the beginning of my fave Durga story which reminds us to trust in something greater and ask for guidance.
