"Nothing worth doing is ever easy!" - Theodore Roosevelt
Most people look at a photograph and see the beauty and splendor of the scene. But have you ever thought about the effort that goes behind making that photograph?
I took these photos of the Mesa arch at sunrise 2 years ago. It took me 1 hour of drive to reach the parking lot, and a 15 minute hike from there to the arch. I reached there at 5.30 in the morning, only to find at least 20 photographers already there with their tripods ready for the sunrise that was an hour later! Difficult to get an unobstructed shot, I played around with numerous camera angles, with and without tripod, finally to capture this stunning sunrise!
Was this easy? Absolutely not! Was it worth doing? I would do it again in a heartbeat 🙂
Everyone has that something which isn't easy but is totally worth doing for them. What's yours?
