Bench (3x6) w/ 255 lbs. 
Barbell floor press (4x5) w/ 245 lbs. 
Over head press (4x5) w/ 135 lbs. 
Dumbbell front raises (3x10)

Dumbbell row (3x8)

Weighted pull-ups (4x6) w/ 45 lbs. 
Weighted dips (4x8) w/ 45 lbs. 
Triceps push downs (2 burnout sets)
————————————— Recording my sets helps me focus on things I need to work on with my form. In the first video I noticed on the eccentric of the bench press my elbows were too wide and I need to tuck them in and have them sit on top of my lats before pressing. In the 3rd video performing weight dips I need to put my head in a more neutral position. Always learning and striving for perfection.

Using sledgehammers in your training forces you to use your raw strength and explosive power. Both are vital traits for a fighter.

So what are some of the benefits of training with a sledgehammer?

1. Wrist Stability
Swinging the hammer around will help your wrist ligaments strengthen up. We need the ligaments super strong to be able to make those devastating power punches.

2.Coordination 
There is multiple muscles and joints at work when training with sledgehammers and it takes a lot of coordination. This is something fighters rely on. It even improves hand eye coordination, making sure those punches will never miss a target.

3. Agility and Rotational Strength
By using the sledgehammer in training you're teaching your body how to move fast and easily through a varying range of motions, a big one being rotational. Having good rotational strength for a fighter means having more power in the punches and speed in our defences.

4. Footwork
If your feet aren't stable, you not going to land the sledgehammer! Fighters rely heavily on having great feet in the ring.

5. Core Strength and Balance
The core transfers forces between the extremities. Before any power movement can occur in the body, the core needs to be stable and solid. The more stable the core, the more powerful the movement. Using sledgehammers in your training forces you to use your raw strength and explosive power. Both are vital traits for a fighter. So what are some of the benefits of training with a sledgehammer? 1. Wrist Stability Swinging the hammer around will help your wrist ligaments strengthen up. We need the ligaments super strong to be able to make those devastating power punches. 2.Coordination There is multiple muscles and joints at work when training with sledgehammers and it takes a lot of coordination. This is something fighters rely on. It even improves hand eye coordination, making sure those punches will never miss a target. 3. Agility and Rotational Strength By using the sledgehammer in training you're teaching your body how to move fast and easily through a varying range of motions, a big one being rotational. Having good rotational strength for a fighter means having more power in the punches and speed in our defences. 4. Footwork If your feet aren't stable, you not going to land the sledgehammer! Did a little hip thrustin’ at BootySquad tonight. Hit 100 on the single legs (tried these tonight for the first time - thanks @mackiefox117) and 205 on the glute bridges. Haven’t done those in a while and felt good to get back to that weight. Followed that up with a killer bootcamp with @daveyvega85 🔥🔥

This month I’ve added Single Leg Barbell RDL’s to the regimen and I’m lovingggg them. Don’t get me wrong, they’re very challenging for a variety of reasons, and highly effective in building the posterior chain (muscles in the back of your body), especially the hamstrings and glutes!

Due to the unilateral nature of the exercise, the stabilizer muscles in your legs and hips must work hard to keep you balanced and to prevent lateral movement in the knee and hip joints.

Some Cues..📝
🔹Maintain neutrality in the spine- from the cervical down to the lumbar region of the spine.
🔹Keep planted foot straight and keep knee soft throughout movement
🔹Hinge at the hip joint to lower; do not bend forward at the torso.
🔹Keep chest up, arms locked and abs engaged throughout motion.

wasnt expecting it either because I went on Tuesday for deadlifts and it wasnt looking good 🤣 I wasnt given up tho ..

Also thanks to the chalk, that came in just in time. I order liquid chalk. In my opinion I think it's better than the loose chalk. 🤷‍♀️ I only applied the liquid chalk once. Ooh no mess 👌
