views and afternoon tea at the @ritzcarltonhongkong
in 📍Hong Kong // sweets on the 102nd floor of the @ritzcarlton
overlooking the #HongKong
skyline 🏙 who could resist? in the end, the food and tea was alright and there was a good amount of variety, but I don’t think the price warrants the food alone. scones were the best part; cupcakes were the worst; large tea selection. there’s definitely plenty of food to fill up on 🤰, but you’re really here for the #views
. close friends know I have this affinity for high rise and rooftop bars/eateries so ofc I needed to try one of the highest restaurants in #HK
! // beautiful and almost unreal experience. came here for the 3pm seating so we could enjoy the sunset 🌇 towards the end. I booked almost a month in advance online and we were still limited to weekdays — HK is insane. the lounge promptly emailed to confirm our reservation. I also requested window seating but was informed that all window seats were accounted for (bummer). when we arrived, we originally sat at an inner table (not an amazing view and do not recommend), but the lounge was not crowded at all, so I requested, in person, to be seated by the windows, and we were accommodated! early bird catches the worm 🐛, because all the spots eventually filled up, including our old seats. yay 🦋 .
