You can see at a glance what's happening on our clients’ social media. I think that same desire for instant information is why we now share our PR actions and results on a weekly basis.
Everything moves so quickly these days that we often have heard clients say, "We pay our agency a monthly fee, but we haven’t a clue what they’re doing." Your agency should have provided you with: • an action plan outlining specific goals,
• a list of specifics objecives,
• a schedule of operations.
Your agency should also commit to sending you a monthly and/or quarterly reports.
At NATA, we had been sending our clients a press review each Friday listing articles and mentions on blogs, Facebook, Instagram and in Stories. But that was no longer sufficient: our clients wanted instant feedback.
To satisfy that requirement, we developed a new formula: every Friday, we now send our clients a report on the week’s highlights, including media and bloggers contacted, e-mails sent, products created, and key articles and publications.
This simple tool has been a great success and has enabled our clients to better understand our work.
This shows the value of listening to our clients and finding new solutions in a world where things keep accelerating.
