象山 aka Xiàng Shān aka Elephant Mountain. It is called Elephant Mountain because of its shape that looks like an elephant, even though I did not see how it resembles an elephant.
If you do regular cardio, I think you will be fine to hike this hill and see the Taipei city view from the above. But, if you think the view does not worth yourself to get soak by the sweat, then you may skip this hill and stroll around the city instead. •
I did not expect to get that wet when I started the hike, 😅because to get into the place where I took this photo, I need to hike about 20-25 minutes and it is all stairs non-stop. There are numbers of tracks and panorama point you can choose and I think where I shot this photos was the nearest station. 🙃 It is pretty dark and there were times I had to use my phone light as I could not see anything on the way up. In addition, there were times when there was no one but me surrounded by the trees and cricket sounds. Quiet scary for me! 😱 But it was all worth it! If you ask me was it worth the effort, YES! I would go back. I will spend more time during the day to explore the hill (because there are some sites on the hill), and then catch the sunset over the hill and go back after. 😬
