Day 1 vs. Day 7 learning how to dance!!🕺🏼
I’m by no means a pro after one week, but I think I’m a heck of a lot better than I started. And that’s what I hope is the big takeaways if you’ve been following along the last week.
You’ll never get better if you never start.
No matter how big, intimidating, far-fetched, outlandish, or foreign your goals are from what you’re accustomed to on a day-to-day basis, you will never make progress in anything you don’t try.
So just TRY. DO. ACT. START.
With action comes results.
Whether it’s playing an instrument, transforming your body, or learning to dance, you will be uncomfortable before you get comfortable. Accept that, embrace it, and take action.
Seven days of @steezystudio
has been an absolute blast. Not sponsored by them and I don’t get anything for you signing up to try their service. I just had a blast taking on something that has been a goal of mine for so long.
The body roll was the first move I did where I was like... wow I’m really doing this. I can really sort of do this dance move I’ve always wanted to do.
And then this day 7 video was the first time where for brief moments I watched myself back and was like “OMG. That actually looks like hip hop!!”
I won’t be sharing a video EVERY day moving forward, but I’ll definitely keep posting updates to show my progress in a new hobby :) thanks for following along so far, and I can’t wait to see how I continue to make progress. #HeartOfALyon
