Grounding is the ancient practice of connecting the body to the natural energy of the earth’s surface. Walking barefoot calms the nervous system and soothes the soul.
As we live through this conscious revolution, our emotional bodies are frantically processing in a state of anguish. Grounding helps balance the body’s vibration with nature’s.
And as I write this, stepping through the grass, the quote, “all that I know, is that I know nothing” comes to mind.
More specifically - all I can ever truly understand is my lived experience. And this lived experience includes white privilege.
This last week has made me realize my complicit involvement in systemic racism and unconscious racial biases. I grieved. I felt ashamed. I educated myself. I donated. I felt a deep sense of awakening and commitment to this, to all injustices against humans: no more.
Freedom and equality are our birthright as the human race. We need to wake up as a collective and see that the powers that govern us do not want us united. Through all media narratives, we must remember and defend our free will.
When will governments give us our freedom back? Will we ever see the world as we knew it again? If this is our new normal, how can we ground ourselves? What quality of life can we create and maintain?
United in love we have the power to create the future we want our children to thrive in.
Love always; all ways.
