feels to my first day as a #CMT
🥰 I was SO NERVOUS as I was still a student (you are allowed to take the state test at 500 hours which is exactly what I did). #ImposterSyndrome
was alive and real this day and my mind was spinning when my clients told me their pain point and what they wanted to work on. 500 hours of tools and I had 2 minutes to figure out a treatment plan! Sitting outside the hallway trying to figure out what the hell I was going to do for 90 minutes to relieve her shoulder pain. Alas, I figured it out and provided a memorable session. So much she became my first regular I made that day. She left a heart on my tip envelope and as I'm a heart lady, it made me so happy. 🥰 I still have that envelope to this day to remember how I felt that first day.
As I prepare to renew my license (every 2 years) I reflect back on the last 2 years. I arrived to the classroom of Healing Hands an empty vessel. So deeply yet beautifully broken open and ready to feel something after a decade of numbing. One day I will be able to talk about everything I've been through in the last 2 years. Getting to this place has felt like walking through fire. Like the Phoneix burning to ashes and rising from the fire again and again. Launching this business has invited such a beautiful state of creative flow where I have to run for my phone to record all my ideas!
When was the last time you chose a #smallbusiness
over big biz? Please know you are supporting stories like mine, individuals that believe in something so badly they feel it in their bones to do the crazy and scary thing and open a business, against all the odds. What was your last #smallbusiness
purchase or investment you made? How was your experience? Did you feel inspired to tell someone about it? Tell me more, would love to know more about how, when, where, why you all choose small business over big/corporate biz?
