Happy Gaper Day!!!
Every year, mountain towns all over the world experience a blast of enthusiasm on April 1, lovingly called, "gaper day." A tribute to those people who ski/snowboard well above their ability level, and to the sport's hilariously goofy past.
It's a day full of neon onesies, sequined jackets, spandex unitards, tutus, crazy wigs, snowlerblades, and even the occasional — and highly coveted — naked skier.
This year, we're compelled to look back at past Gaper Days and remember fond times with hundreds of new best friends, because most ski resorts are closed due to COVID-19.
In honor of this amazing day:
1️⃣ Post your favorite and crazy Gaper Day photos to Instagram
2️⃣ Follow Ski Haus
3️⃣ Tag @skihaussteamboat
in the photo
4️⃣ Use #shredwithtucker
in the caption
And we'll share all of your amazing and borderline inappropriate photos to our story feed for our rad community to laugh at in wonder.
Also, this will enter you to win $100 gift card to Ski Haus in the #shredwithtucker
contest for April!!
Spread the love!!
