DAY 2:- 18-08-2018
From Valley of Fire State Park we packed up and drove 137m 2h 30m to Zion National Park in south western Utah.
Before entering the park you go through a cute little town called Springdale.
Entering Zion looks like something out of a movie. The colours of the mountain are very beautiful.
After we checked into Watchman campground and setup camp, we enjoyed some lunch.
Once the afternoon started to cool down, we set off on The Watchman Trail. This is a short 3.1m hike which leads to a view point 300 feet above.
This is an easy-moderate hike with some spectacular views and took a little over an hour each way. We timed it so we were up there just before the sun went down and had a little picnic before retreating back down and cooled off in the river stream before heading back to camp.
A lovely introduction to Zion where we stayed for 2 nights. ♥️👌
