A couple weeks ago, Lyra had an accident brought on by my own stupidity. To explain her injuries, I'll first explain what caused them. Prior to the incident, I had recently added a vine type fake plant to help add some more clutter to her bin. The problem lied in the structure of said vine. It was all pliable plastic, made up of oval links like links in a chain. I completely spaced that information off. She put her head through one of these links and became stuck and entangled. The damage you see here is after her first shed post injury, so she is missing scales but otherwise seems totally healed up and is acting completely normal. Unfortunately, this was a learn-by-fire situation for me, but please use this as a learning experience. Thoroughly look over anything you give your animals access to to make sure there's no way they could get harmed.
