Burn out ….can leave people feeling exhausted, empty, and unable to cope with the demands of life. I know that every once in a while I need to step back and see why I am feeling exhausted, emotional, and frankly tapped out! Have you ever felt that way?
Especially as we are approaching the Holidays it can feel incredibly overwhelming and last week I found myself feeling like I was approaching burn out, so what did I do…
* I took a day off, to do somethings I love ( podcasting, writing, reading)
* I took a long hot bath and binged watched old episodes of 90210 ( don’t judge, if you were a 90’s teen you would understand)
* I gave myself permission to cry ( sometimes you need a good cry, I know I am not the only one who feels like this)
I want to remind you that especially during the holidays give yourself some space and grace to relax and unwind and do something for you!
