🎉 The Dog Park at Bob Woodruff is now officially open. Located at 2300 Shiloh Road, the 7-acre dog park features separate areas for large and small dogs as well as an enclosure reserved for special events. A centrally located shade structure overlooks the fenced enclosures. There's low level safety lighting for the entire dog park, plaza and parking lot, so you will be able to enjoy the park in the evening. Of course, you'll also find picnic tables, benches, water stations for humans and dogs, and waste pickup/disposal stations (please "Doo the Right Thing" and pick up after your dog!). 🐶
When outside the fenced enclosures, dogs are required to be restrained on a maximum 6-foot leash at all times - including when arriving and departing the park. The park closes at 10:30 p.m. A warning strobe is activated before the lights automatically turn off.
A couple of important notes: 🐾 The dog park may be closed during and after inclement weather to protect the turf. The closure may last up to a few days after the weather has passed. Conditions are assessed on a daily basis for re-opening. 🐾 The dog park is closed for maintenance on Tuesdays from sunrise until 4 p.m.
