Today I’m gonna talk about the most important topic “ME TIME”. We all mommies crave for some me time but hardly get any. .
We are not making ourselves a priority. Are you guilty of that? I know I am. Since becoming a mom,I have found it extremely difficult to get around to finding time for myself to do just things for me. .
But I realised, it is so important to make time for yourself. Being a mom is an incredibly important job,perhaps the most important job of your life. But it is not all that defines us. .
A rested,physically and emotionally healthy woman is a better mom and a better wife pand can establish more. Everybody needs a break from the demands of daily living and we moms are no exception. Downtime is so important. .
So try a few of these ideas for mom’s daily ‘ME TIME’ .
1. Go to the movies with your best friend. Have popcorn.
2.Dance your heart out.
4.treat yourself to lunch
5.Take a nap. A real nap…flopping down on the couch doesn’t count! Get in bed, under the covers.
6.Catch up on your reading. Find a good book or that stack of magazines you’ve been too busy to get to.
7.Go for a swim.
8.Reconnect with a friend. Call someone you haven’t talked to in a while.
9.Pull out your wedding album and remember how you felt right before you walked down the aisle.
10.Take your mom to lunch. She could use a break too! .
11.Pray and read Quran. Trust me you will feel better.
12.Try yoga. Stretch yourself.
13.Go for a drive. Play your favorite tunes, put the windows down, and let the wind blow through your hair.
14.Get a pedicure! Treat your feet and your whole body will thank you! (I badly need this)
15.Watch something at home. A movie, TV show, whatever!
16.Do nothing. (Yes, it’s really okay…)
