Apologies in advance for today's confusing/intricate post. There are 2 new arrival early/rare Seiko Alpinists today - the gloss black Champion J13033 and inverted triangle silver sunburst Champion J13049 at right. In total, slide 1 represents 5 of the first 6 references for Seiko's first sports watch - the Alpinist - missing only the white-dialed sibling to the new J13033. (There's also the J13043, but AFAIK it's just a region code away from the J13049). Watches 3 and 4 share the same case reference (J13033), but given the designs, I believe the order should be [1/2] - with the new black Champion being the first Champion Alpinist. After these watches was the Champion Alpinist 850 - ref J14079 - which was produced in far greater numbers. Was holding off on sharing the J13049 until I could replace the crystal, but with the new J13033 I figured a family photo was in order. Excited to include these in the collection - each in stunning (under the crystal) untouched condition. Happy #SeikoSunday
