One day this guys (Head of Lviv Organ Hall @ivan
.ostapovych and director of Ukrainian Festival orchestra @demcaux
) called and invited to participate like a #model
in one short video.
Near town Lviv there is one of the old churches, which is now on the edge of ruination after long time ago fire destroyed the top of the building. Also, for many years' nobody cared about this place, but some famous masterpieces of G.Pinsel, O.Rolinskyi and B.Meretyn are still can be rescued.
When we came to spot and I saw and felt the energy of this place first music to perform came to my mind was J.S.Bach. It is naturally, isn’t it? For me Sarabande from II Suite with its philosophic, slow dance which shows hope — transfers emotions of these stones full of Pray and art.
Original version of video came with other music background, but video operator sent me this version with sound recorded with mobile phone.
A lot of thanks to all involved o this project, all these people make big Work to save and promote Ukrainian historical heritage and culture, which was ruinated for very long time but some of our History still can be saved.
With support of Ukrainian Government, Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, @collegium
