The Cincinnati Bengals have the current longest playoff drought in all of the NFL as of now, and I don’t see it ending this year. I see them performing poorly this year. They have a few bright spots here and there, but even those are very dim. On offense, they are decent at best. Their quarterback, Andy Dalton, is very mediocre, and he’s been pretty average throughout his whole career. I don’t see him performing much better next year than he did this year. One bright spot is running back Joe Mixon. He is a top ten running back with lots of potential. Another pretty bright spot on their offense are their wide receivers. The combination of A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, and John Ross is pretty solid, and very underrated. Also, tight end Tyler Eifert will definitely make a difference. One huge hole in this Bengals roster is their offensive line. An upgrade is definitely needed for this offense to be successful, because as of now, their offense line is very weak. Defense wise, the Bengals are even worse looking. Throughout their whole defense, they have little depth and not much talent, aside from Geno Atkins and Dre Kirkpatrick. Their defense as a whole is pretty bland. I won’t go into detail about each part of their defense because there isn’t much to say, but all I will say is that it is in need of a complete revamp. Who they have playing will not get the job done, and something needs to be done about it if they want a successful team. Overall, I don’t see much coming from this team, and they need to start rebuilding. Their offense is almost there, but their defense needs to be upgraded.
