PLEASE hug your fur babes little tighter today 💕
This morning, I thought I was about to loose mine. Literally.
We were doing our usual morning routine of playing outside in our yard and he happened to see a coyote in the distant that I didn't see, he probably thought it was a dog. Once it moved, he started running after it, full speed. He got closer to it and it made noises before it started to run. He ran after it, no turning back.
My adrenaline and fight or flight mode set in automatically. I started running through the fields, jumped 3 fences and had to go through a barbwire one while screaming as loud as I could (probably sounding like bloody murder). I wasn't stopping regardless what I had to do or feel. All I could think about was I have to get to him, to be honest, it was a blur.
Loosing track of him into the forest, I thought for sure he was gone but I was going to just keep going. I was getting him back. 10 minutes later, in the far distance, I could see him running towards me. Once he came close, I dropped to the ground, trying to catch my breath, realizing I had gone into a panic state.
I don't know who was looking over us but I am SO thankful. My body will heal, the scrapes & bruises will disappear, my shoes are replaceable. But most of all, my heart is full knowing he is safe and okay, resting back at home 💕
