Apparently there’s a national shortage on helium.
Went to get some balloons for a friend who was in the hospital. If you don’t get your balloons at the Dollar Store, kudos to you for supporting your local business, this may cost you a bit more.
I usually get 5 balloons, instead got three and three $1 noodles. Put a straw (sorry Californians) in the balloon inflation hole almost all the way without letting the straw fall into the balloon.
Lightly pinch around the inflation hole and blow. Starting may take a little effort, but once it begins to inflate it is relatively quick. When the balloon is tight with air, pull out the straw. The balloon will self seal the air in.
Unroll the ribbon and tie an end to a pen. Drop pen into the hole of the noodle. Pull the pen out the other end and remove the ribbon from the pen. Pull the ribbon (not too hard) until the balloon is snug on the other end.
Tie the ribbon end onto the noodle and secure in place. I used transparent tape. Repeat with other balloons. Wrap all together with $1 roll of ribbon. #helium #heliumballoons #heliumshortage #heliumshortageintheworld #heliumballoon #balloonhelium #heliumballoons🎈
