My name is Cassie. Today was my last day. Over the past few months, I've been getting weaker and I was in pain. My mom and dad did what they could to keep me comfortable, but it was too much now. In the past few days, mom and dad tried to make my days fun and memorable. I got to see my mom's office, went for a wagon walk, and I even got to see the Space Needle (from the ground, of course, do you see it in the background?)! I sniffed out of the open car windows on the drive, and then we just sat on the front porch. Today, for my last day, I got all the snuggles, and I went for my favorite treat, a @starbucks
pupacino! It's just whipped cream, but it sounds fancy! The very nice barista even let me have me a bigger size because my daddy told her it was my last day (he was crying, and she asked what was wrong). I didn't finish it, though. I haven't had much of an appetite the past few days. And then we went to the best vet in the world, @southhillvet
so I could go see my sister at the 🌈 Bridge. Mom and dad had to wear weird muzzles on their faces, something about coronavirus, but I didn't understand. They was sad, but they said I was the goodest girl. I hope I was. Please be kind to my mom and dad. They're grieving, and they're really sad. I can't wait until I can see them again. I've been with them for 15 years, 7 months, 27 days since my gotcha day. It's time for me to say goodbye for now. My name is Cassie. I had humans who loved me very much, and I loved them very much. I had a great life.
