Sumo squats with weights: legs wide and toes pointed to the side. (Make sure to push your knees back over your feet so your joints aren’t rolling in!) Weights can be at hips or shoulders depending on you!
Weighted squat with alternating leg raise: push hips back and make sure your knees don’t go out over your toes. Raise up, squeeze supporting glute, lift other leg and engage lower abs!
Weighted side/back lunges: leg and weights to the side. Make sure your knee stays at a 90° angle when bent and knee tracks out over your toes. Then bring it back in and that same leg goes out behind you! Weights stay at your side and both legs hit a 90° angle.
Do each move twice for 60 seconds (for the alternating leg moves do each leg once for 60 seconds).
Don’t let these moves fool you haha they’re not easy. You choose the weights you use based on if you’re able to keep proper form and balance or not!
