Ummm, no. Quite the contrary actually, Karen (we’ll call her Karen.) 🤚🏽
Because I believe in living (and live myself) a BALANCED lifestyle. ⚖️
For me, that means working hard so I can play hard... Or eat donuts. 🏋🏻♂️🍩
Also, I’m a creature of habit. When I’m at home, Fridays are my “treat day.” So why should it be any different out here? I’m still waking up, following my morning routine, moving my body, fuelling my body with good foods... ⏰☀️💪🏽🥗 It’s business as usual on all other fronts so why shouldn’t I continue with enjoying my donut(s) on Friday, too?! 🤔
It’s a common misconception that us “fitness people” will tell you deprive yourself of certain foods, but that’s not how I do things. I promote educating yourself on proper portions, eating at optimal times, and everything in moderation. 🍽
If your body works hard for you, give it the gift of something sweet (or salty), whatever your preference, every once in a while.
