2015 #georgia🇬🇪 #wine
vinified into old clay #qvevri
buried on the ground. Limited to 13k bottles/year. Grape is the ancient #rkatsiteli
variety. Aside the golden, almost #brandy
beautiful colour, on the nose Satrapezo is sweet, with dried prunes, dates, raisins, fruit mermelade. But in the mouth, the sweet goes away. It is surprisingly dry for its 13%gl, but smooth, with a tannin aftertaste barely felt at the end but significant. Quite a different amber wine. It is robust, it can face up roasted beef, pork, veal with spicy creamy sauces and still bring a great experience.
