We’ve been delving a lot lately into the notion of holidays and what they mean to us and what we want from them. It keeps coming up with friend/strangers on the gram and in “real life” too.
‘Holiday’ conjures up sand and crystal clear waters and bikinis and cocktails. And this is great, there’s a time for these holidays if we’re lucky enough to have them.
But there’s the holidays we don’t know really how to talk about but we crave nonetheless.
It’s the solitary holiday. The one where we sit. Or sleep. Or stare into space. Maybe we just eat toast. Maybe we watch Netflix. Maybe we read a lot or maybe we just walk and be a bystander for once.
This place here is a good place to sit and watch and see what comes up. The solitary holiday. It’s a good one 👌🏻
