One thing that is for certain in this world of uncertainty is that one day you'll die!
Statistics show that 10/10 people die. It's true, I'm not making this stuff up!
Knowing that one day you'll die, and knowing that you'll remain dead for a longer period of time than you'll live, wouldn't it seem rational to take time and think about your end, the day you'll breath your last? You see, God's a moral God and He's a God of His promise. He told Adam and Eve, that when you shall eat from this tree, you shall surely die! & being a God of His word, they later on died.
In Romans 5:12 it says that, "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned..."
When sin entered the world, death entered through sin. You might say, but why have all creation fallen cos man sinned? Simply answered, because all of this, everything, from animals to birds, trees, plants... were created for man. God told Adam and Eve to rule over His creation. & because its for man, when man fell, it all fell too. & that's how sin compromised the system, causing sicknesses, abnormalities, natural disasters...
But there is another Adam, His name is Jesus.
Romans 5:19-22 says — “By one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.” “For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many….” “For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.”
Because Jesus rose again, his children will rise again too!
Jesus said in John 14:19 "Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live". cos our salvation in Christ is secure, for us to die is gain for to be away from the body is to be present with the Lord, Corinthians 5:8 our blessed hope! @gospelbelievers @followradical
