The bar/object facing burpee represents what Good Friday & Easter are all about...Jesus conquering death by rising again. The double kneeling lunge starts in a standing position, step back like a reverse lunge but instead of coming back up right away, bring your other knee down before returning to the standing position. These represent Jesus carrying the cross, falling to his knees and standing back up time and time again on the way to his impending death. The Rx weight isn't tremendously heavy, scale up if you dare but the hang squat clean last, a full body/highly technical lift under a great deal of fatigue racing against the clock, is going to going to challenge your mental toughness and fortitude. In essence pick one lower body exercise, pick some type of an upper body push and some type of an upper body pull. On a frequent basis, pick heavy stuff up and carry it for a while and set it back down.

Add some directed core work like dead bugs

Add some integrated core work like bird dogs and you're pretty much good to go.

The conditioning part is fairly easy to set up as well.

Efforts lasting 10 to 20 seconds develop anaerobic power. Rest three to five times as long as it takes to get each effort done. Work really hard on each effort.

The diaphragm is a muscle like any other muscle in the human body. It can be loaded to perform better. It's main jobs are respiration and stability.
We already know how to get it to function better through diaphragmatic breathing. 🤔🤔🤔
Another way that we can strengthen this muscle is to overload it. By closing off one nostril and just using a single nostril for breathing during work of any kind stresses your ability to get air.

This will also, over time, increase your ability to tolerate carbon dioxide in the bloodstream, mimicking the positive effects of training at high altitude.

In training there's always a problem or the question of transferability of the training effect out of the gym and into the field be that whatever it is. Too often as coaches and athletes we make the mistake of chasing numbers. Numbers look great on a wall but if it doesn't transfer into meaningful use on the field of play or in your everyday life, those numbers are at a minimum useless and at worst,  the root of injury.
Make an effort on a daily basis to pick stuff up and carry it around. You'll become a little more athletic because of it.
Unless your game is pushing up big numbers for the sake of numbers, doing so is a fool's errand.
