صدای موسیقی یخ رو میشنوید؟
Can you hear the ice music?
These sounds occur when the ice on the lake surface starts to crack in different parts because of the temperature changes. These sounds sound like sci-fi movies.👽
If you surf on Google or Youtube, you will find interesting videos.😉

Visiting Abraham lake was the only thing that was not on our Canada list.... but every trip we allow ourselves that, we challenge ourselves to discover one of those hidden gems.... to actually go off the beaten path and see what’s on the other side. 🗺
So we were driving back from Jasper to Banff and because we’ve already seen all the attractions along the way driving into Jasper -and because we were two hours before sunset and didn’t want to just head over to the hotel- we decided to detour a little when we saw the sign for Nordegg.
I said let’s go this way, for some reasons this name sounds familiar I’ve seen it tagged by my Canadian Ig friends. 😬
Drove about 50 mile, got impressed by the dramatic stunning Mountain View’s all around and started to see this lake on the right hand side and a couple of cars stopped on the side of the road here and there. 🚗
We finally stopped and decided to check it out. wow.... a frozen lake where they actually drive cars over it to the middle of the lake. Crazy, isn’t it! 😆
We drove a little furter and next stop was mind blowing, a frozen unique blue color lake.... that has some white bubbles in it. 🤔
Quickly started to read about it- to find out that it is man-made lake due to a dam which helps control water drainage and flow from the Rockies and it turns into the infamous ice bubble lake that people from all over have come to photograph.... wow this is my place!!! 🙌🏼
Spent two magical hours here, captured some amazing sunset pics and so happy we got our hidden gem spot checked off! 🤑
Frozen bubbles in Abraham Lake in Alberta, Canada😍
🔍The bubbles are formed as methane gas rises and gets trapped in the ice as the lake freezes over.
