We all have goals. We all have dreams. But there’s a very clear difference between goals and dreams. A plan is what separates the two. Having a plan on how you are going to achieve your goal and what steps you need to take is the most important part in being able to manifest your goals into a reality. In order to be great, or be successful or have an impact on the world or people you have to have a plan. Now there is nothing wrong with being spontaneous but you can still have a plan in place of what you want to do. It’s not just about working hard but working smart as well. Once you have a map and know how to get to where you want to be. The journey becomes much easier. ▪️

OK, now the workout💪🏼 If you’re new to working out or looking for some beginner moves, this one’s for you 😊 All you need is an adjustable bench! The one I’m using is @Ritfit_sports Portable Adjustable Bench and is perfect for #homeworkouts since it can fold up for easy storage 👍🏼.

Perform each exercise for 45-60 seconds for 1-2 sets. Take longer breaks in between sets as needed. Something to keep in mind on the strength moves is to remember to BREATHE 💨. Inhale in the eccentric part of the movement (when the muscles being worked are elongating) and Exhale on the concentric movement (when muscles are shortening...the harder part 🔥).

🐶 Incline Push-ups- lower chest as close to the bench as best you can.
🐶Tricep Dips- closer the feet to bench will be easier. 🐶Squats- squat into a seated position.
🐶Burpees- modify even more by removing the jump and stepping feet back slowly.
🐶Glute Bridges- drop the hips low, then lift and squeeze the glutes while keeping abs engaged.
🐶Bridge with Step Outs- keep abs tight!.
🐶Mountain Climbers- go at your own pace.
🐶Bicycle Crunches- go at your own pace. .

Trying out @psychetruth 10 min Arm Workout for Toned and Sexy Arms (for Beginners)
Ball on rope chop variation. Let me tell you, I felt so uncoordinated and awkward here. It surprises most people that I didn't play sports as a kid (I was much happier to read a book). And even though I've grown into my #body and I know how to #move (thank you #yoga ) , I initially felt anxiety learning this new exercise 😟. What if I wasn't good at it? What if I never learn? What if I look stupid? The 'if I'm not good enough right away then I'm going to give up' mentality was very real here. It's easier that way right? Because then we don't open ourselves up to be vulnerable and hurt. ❎wrong❎ because there is no growth there. There is no self discovery or life discovery there and we should be curious about #life all the time. Allow for creation, allow for 'what if I tried this' and 'how about I try that'. I definitely wasn't good at this right away (I think you can even see me get smacked in the face). But who care?! my boss is such a good teacher and the other trainer was cheering me on. And guess what? It was fun!! I felt like a kid again and also got a great #coreworkout . But I got out of #comfortzone , and like my mom says, "I'm too old to be embarrassed." To all my current clients, get ready! Y'all are about to try something new too 😉
