Our Facebook group has daily workouts, we have lent out pretty much every piece of equipment in the gym to our members, we are doing several coached Zoom WODs a day, core workouts and mobility flows as well as quizzes, competitions and other things to keep our members engaged, supported and able to keep moving 💪

We’ve also loved having our members connect more with others, like @abelwoodley and @james.rodda who usually train in open gym during the afternoon but we now get to see them every day at 6pm, showing up to get their workouts done together with the rest of the class 👊

We often talk about setting goals, and yes having goals is important.... BUT

What if you’re not feeling yourself? What if you’ve had a big change in your life? What if it’s just not time to reach for the stars... 🤩
.
For anyone in that situation I suggest the following..
.
1️⃣ decide what is non-negotiable and has to happen for the day to be deemed successful. Decide this the night before.
2️⃣ continue doing this until it’s time to set a more thorough goal. .
I know this is simple, but a goal is ultimately a longer term structure you give to a period of your life, if the future seems a-bit shitty, aim to have the best day. 🥳

Thinking outside the box for home workouts!

This over hand pull down was really challenging and something I would normally do on a cable machine! The strength curve on the band isn’t completely perfect but I am pretty happy with it as a whole. You could try this by tying a resistance band to anything solid (bannister/shut door/garden fence) and just hooking a bar/broom/garden pole into the end. Slow, steady and controlled is key for this to really fire up your lats and triceps.

I’m attempting to get heavier and lower into my squats. This was 55kg and slightly less depth than I would like and a little knee wobble but now I can see and adjust!

🔸 Hola chicos 👋🏼 Vengo a explicaros cómo va a ser un poco la dinámica de entrenamiento. Iré subiendo distintas rutinas de ejercicios enfocadas a zonas específicas, así como rutinas de trabajo más generales •

🔸Las rutinas de ejercicios se van a basar en Entrenamientos con Intervalos de Alta Intensidad (HIIT: High Interval Intensive Training). ¿En que consiste? Realizamos 4-5 ejercicios por rutina, de 3 series cada uno. Cada serie tendrá una duración de 40” con un intervalo de descanso de 20”. Una vez realizadas las 3 series de cada ejercicio, realizaremos un descanso de un minuto antes de proceder a realizar el siguiente ejercicio. La secuencia por ejercicio sería 40”-20”-40”-20”-40-1’, y comenzaríamos el siguiente •

We then set an intention - obviously this involves becoming a PT but more so why. Then all through the course we can revisit this thought, this ‘why’ and the turn it into a real thing. 🔥

I’ve always believed that if you stay in shape at all times you won’t have to diet too much to get in shape. .

However a few tweaks is always good before an event. .

If you’re getting in great shape for something don’t just throw in the towel when you achieve that goal. .

Keep it up after your event and don’t let it slip.
