When you encounter a fear initiating event, it’s reasonable for you to take appropriate action to mitigate it.

Generally, we do one of three things in response to fear: 
1️⃣ Freeze or 2️⃣ Fight or 3️⃣ Flight.

On the other hand, distress related to prolonged exposure to fear causes damage to your body, mind and spirit.

That’s why you must address extended periods of fear.

Consider every aspect of that which causes you fear.

Write it down so you can make it concrete.

Then choose appropriately.

If you reach the limits of your individual capacity, phone a friend for help.

COVID-19 is causing us enough pains and enough losses.

Don't make it worse by choosing to let fear compromise your well-being.

We can win.

Let’s beat COVID-19 and all the other fears that attempt to incapacitate us.

Last week I was self isolated for a mild sore throat.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No work. And worst of all, no kiddo 😭
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not having ANY sort of normalcy in my life was bittersweet.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On one hand, I had zero responsibilities and no one to answer to. It was glorious! 🙌🏻
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the other hand, I had absolutely no routine and very quickly found myself losing all motivation to do anything at all.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is where that downward spiral very quickly starts 🌀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With everyone practicing social distancing and self isolation, a lot of people are struggling with having their routines completely thrown out the window.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So here’s my advice to you....
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⭐️ Create a new routine ⭐️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mimick as much of your old routine as you can, and then add a few new things to it that you may not have had time for before
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For example....
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Set and alarm and wake up around the same time every day
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Immediately jump into your normal morning routine as you would if you had to go to work
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
BUT
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here is where you can take advantage of your newly found free time and mix things up...
You can throw in a quick 15-20 cardio session before breakfast, jump right into a workout, or do some meditation.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Or maybe you actually take the time to make a healthy breakfast, something you could continue to do once you go back to work 🍳
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
By repeating the same steps every morning all of these things become a habit
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lets be honest... this whole thing is EVENTUALLY going to end and we’re all going to have to go back to our regular lives and responsibilities 🤷🏼‍♀️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Are you going to make an easy transition back to normal life?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Or are you going to hop on the struggle bus and have a really challenging time getting yourself out of “quarantine mode”? 🚌

Make a routine. Write it down. Check it off every morning. (And watch the positive results that are a result of creating healthier habits 😉)

Full body work this morning. ✨ One thing I have realized and love about my body is how fast my body adapts to change. It was my mind that was unwilling at first. Without lifting heavy my weight is dropping but that’s okay. 
Adapt to the current change. Running, calisthenics, and circuit training is what I have to work with at the moment and I love how my body is responding. 
Conditions are always changing and when we are no longer able to change the situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.  Our peace lies within the ability to adapt to change and there needs to be a willingness and openness to do so. 💖 •

Abgesehen mal davon, dass mein Großvater Freddy hieß und mein erstes Auto auch, werden meine zukünftigen Jeans auch Freddy heißen ❤ vielleicht hat die ein oder andere schon etwas von #freddywear bzw. #freddywrup gehört. Das ist natürlich unbezahlte Werbung, ich habe mir zum ersten Mal eine Jeans dort bestellt. Hab schon länger mit den Hosen geliebäugelt, aber sie sind nicht gerade günstig. Überwiegend trage ich skinny jeans von only, weil sie bei mir auch ganz gut sitzen, aber sie rutschen leider, an den Beinen, am Po.. und diese Hose.... ich liebe sie 😍😍😍 Angezogen, und kurz gedacht, die ist schon ziemlich angepasst... 3 Minuten später war sie wie eine zweite Haut. Mega gutes feeling, rutscht nicht, ob ich mich setze, hocke, bewege, weil im Bund ein Silikonband eingearbeitet ist. Knaller. I remember when I took that first pic on the left. It was June 2019. About 6 weeks into working out consistently, and eating right. I was SO EXCITED about that little bit of definition I had got. 
I sent my victorious pic to some friends and family members... and I remember one person saying “HOLY COW! Is that YOU?! You look great!” Then I remember another person saying “That’s a skinny and scrawny little arm” ..... 😟 
Of course that person was joking, but they still said it and unfortunately, that’s the comment that stays in my head. 
Not everyone is going to agree with everything you do, especially when it comes to putting yourself out there, getting out of your comfort zone, and making a CHANGE for yourself. 
Once I decided to not let the opinions of other people control my decisions, that’s when everything shifted. 
If I let the opinions of what others thought of me control me, I never would have started this whole coaching thing. I never would have found my passion. I never would have gained new friendships. I wouldn’t have these amazing uplifting, inspiring, motivational women in my life that I have now, that make me want to be better everyday. And I definitely wouldn’t have this transformation pic. 
I’m so proud of that second pic that I took yesterday, don’t get me wrong. But I’m most proud of the pic on the left. She didn’t give up. She didn’t stop because of criticism. She kept going and going and she got better. She grew and chose to keep growing and doing the things that set her heart and soul on FIRE. 
Girl, stop caring what THEY think. Are they paying your bills? Chances are, they’re probably not. It’s time to stop putting yourself on the back burner and do something for YOU for once, whatever that may be.
