After a successful scouting mission for Bufflehead I was driving back through the winding hills on my way home when I spotted this scene out of the corner of my eye. It was one of those moments where for a split second you envision a shot but then contemplate stopping to really see if it had potential. Well I was happy I did...I love how the silhouette of the jay pops against the storm clouds and the shape of the branches from the birch tree. I know these kinds of images aren’t the most detailed or a crowd pleasure but I liked it enough to share it. #birdsonearth#instanaturefriends_
Another image from my recent #Ndutu trip, this time a #cheetah youngster that we saw very early one morning along with its mother and sibling. Look at those beautiful amber eyes!
