Let me tell you what’s special about last week!
Daniel Garcia and I were invited on a press trip to Shreveport/Bossier City where we would get to ride on a family friendly Mardi Gras float!
We declined because it just so happens that our annual Marriage Conference in Branson happened to be at the same time!
While we were thrilled to be invited and would have had a blast , Daniel and I felt that it was more important to work on our marriage! You see, you don’t have to wait till you have problems to make an effort towards having a happy marriage! It should be and is a continuous process! We will be celebrating 25 years of marriage this October!
Not only that but Daniel was diagnosed with the beginning stages of Shingles this passed week and we were so bummed because we had turned down two amazing opportunities to go to this conference and it seemed like the Devil was putting his hands on every little thing to keep us from going!
But with much prayer and lots of research on natural remedies, God showed me what we needed to do to keep the Shingles from popping up and keep them at bay so that we could go!
Daniel woke up feeling great this morning and said I just booked us an extra room let’s leave now!
So we were off to Branson to spend the week nurturing our relationship!
Marriage can be hard but if your willing to sacrifice things you love and put the work into it , you’ll reap the benefits of God’s blessings that he meant for a marriage to bring two people who love each other.
Remember you’ll get out what you put in!
While we were there we had the pleasure of meeting the @duggarfam
! Such a sweet couple!
