don’t wish for it. work for it
i am totally that type of person that wants to get the highest grade on every assignment. to finish each quarter with straight A’s.
I am totally that person that wants to show up and give every workout 110%. I will give every race every ounce of strength and determination I have.
yah, I use to think of myself as being a perfectionist. sometimes I still am. but more times than not I just put the work in for it.
I can be a perfectionist and still get mad when I don’t get a 100 on a paper. but I think to myself, did I really put in all of the work that I could have?
I can be a perfectionist and beat myself up for missing a PR. but did I really train, and try my hardest in every training and every workout?
don’t wish for straight A’s, the six pack, or the marathon PR unless you’re willing to put in the work for it.
