THOSE FRIYAY FEELS! ✨Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further! I got you! Here are some Denver and Northern Colorado happening!
✨ The @coloradosymphony
presents Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in concert! Feb 27-29! Tickets are from $20-94. You can watch Luke, Leia on the big screen as the Colorado Symphony perform the film score live! Please bring me!
✨Science Riot! This sounds fun! @denvermuseumns
hosts local scientists who have taken to comedy with stand up sets involving bits about science-centered fun. Maybe I could join them? 🤣 here is my joke: A photon checks into a hotel and is asked if he needs any help with his luggage. He says, "No, I'm traveling light."
✨Banff Film Festival! I always see it at CSU but this weekend it’s in Denver at The Paramount theatre. It’s the 44th year of the film festival. Each night they will screen a handful of different short films and you get to travel the world from your theatre seat. Each night is different films. If you can get tickets, I highly recommend it. We learned about @upsurferdan
. He is this dude who surfs the icy Great Lakes here in the US and he is my favorite!
✨If you are in Fort Collins, @fattire
has live music everyday Friday evening and $1 off Fat Tire! This is going on until Dec 18th. It will be a good spot once it warms up.
✨ G. Love and The Special Sauce have a concert on 2/28 at the Aggie Theatre. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. If you ever shopped at Pac Sun in the early 2000’s or if you like Jack Johnson, you will love G Love!
✨You can also go see the Carole King Musical from 2/27-2/29 at The Lincoln Center in Fort Collins. It’s about her inspiring true story of Carole King’s rise to stardom. You know the song, “I feel the earth move under my feet”? That’s her! Tickets range from $39-68.
I hope y’all have a great weekend and feel free to invite me to any and all of this because it all sounds so fun! What plans do you have for the weekend?
