Jennifer Green @jenniferswigs is one of the strongest, most positive people I know. She is constantly building other people up and is incredibly generous with her time. Jennifer is a mother and grandmother, works full time but still makes sure to prioritze her health and exercises every day. I've seen Jennifer's faith, commitment and dedication throughout several difficult personal experiences. Here's her story:

"I do not have an athletic gene pool. I had a grandparent that ran track and field, but that’s it. In my 20’s I suffered from migraines and my doctor told me to try and exercise more. I started strength training and cardio classes and machines and my migraines went away! I seldom get them now
.
I tried running on the treadmill and used to get a side cramp within 15 minutes and after a while gave up. 
Not long after that I met a woman named Cindy at my gym in a spin class. She looked so fit and I asked her about her own fitness journey. She disclosed that she just had a mastectomy due to breast cancer ten days ago
.
I was shocked that she was spinning after a surgery! She asked what I did for work and I told her about my wig business. I had the honor of helping her with wigs during her chemo treatments. She invited me to come run with her running group. The rest is history! .
The group helped me train for my first marathon. Having their support helped me tackle this ambitious goal and there was even one woman who ran the whole race with me  There truly is no feeling like setting a goal, training hard and crossing that finish line! The first thing I said after I cried is what's next??

I have run 2 full marathons, many half marathons and a bunch of 10k’s. I also strength train and do HIIT workouts and spin. But there is nothing I love as much as a run. I'm turning 50 in several weeks and would love to run a marathon this year to celebrate that"

Jennifer is too humble to share this but she also donated a kidney!! Not only that, she trained and ran a half marathon just 6 months after her kidney donation. I'm so grateful to know and learn from Jennifer💗

Could be forgiven for thinking I'd been back out running in the rain but this was the aftermath of a 90 minute dynamic flow workshop at @hotpodyoga_derby_burton and I loved it!

So good to try out some new things and I even discovered that my generally ridiculously immobile shoulders are  NEARLY capable of a bind (on one side anyway!)... so even if it was only my finger tips touching, it's closer than I was before 😀 I've also now got the urge to go try and do head and handstands against the wall 🤣

It really flew by, and I was very proud to run all 18 miles and one additional one on an elliptical for my long run day( yesterday), preparing for my ultra next weekend. I’m super excited to be in that environment again, and my boyfriend is “crewing me”. I can’t wait to kick butt too. Today’s work out will be an easy 14/15 mile bike and some downtime 💤.

They are driven, hungry, bold + brave. They are moms, daughters, sons, doctors, lawyers, teachers, social workers, therapist, soldiers, Police officers, grandmothers, retired, caretakers, students, friends, best friends, confidants, community, family, etc...they are YOU, ME, WE and I. You say GO + they say On It👊🏻 These Wonder Women gave it all they had and then some this morning in the 75min Reform/Empower Intensive. 
It was EPIC. They more than survived, they slayed⚡️🙌🏻 Give them a 👏🏻 Family. Know your family pictured, tag them + give them a shout out. They deserve it💯
