Sometimes designers need designers. I’ve always felt designing for myself is the hardest thing ever, my inner critic is ruthless. Having an amazing friend & colleague who is truly an inspiration to me daily gift me with this beauty, means the absolute world to me. Just having her in my life makes me aspire to be a better artist and person all around. Thank you @lia
.golemba with @pinkspots
for bringing my business and passion together, with your art. If you don’t know Lia, you should. She is an amazing designer, artist, illustrator, and most importantly friend.
A little behind how Mad Attic came to be. When I bought my first townhouse in Airdrie 12 years ago, it was a top floor stacked townhouse and my studio area was just below my little corner window. When anyone (mainly @forgetkatiebee
who helped name) came to my house they would always see my little “Attic” light on. So when coming up with my business name 11 years ago, the idea was “Mad” Designer (not Scientist) in the Attic.
