Maybe you've met Juan Lino. Maybe you haven't (We're Sorry!) But one thing is certain: by the end of this post, you will love him just as we all do here at the Salon💟 This bundle of JOY has been part of our TONI&GUY Family for over 2 years & continues to strive for greatness every day. We know Austin, TX misses him - but we are thrilled he now thrives with our team in the springs!
A little insight into what brought him into this field: "The first moment I thought about becoming a Hairdresser... happened while I was a Registered Massage Therapist renting a room in a salon in Austin, Texas around 2002. This wasn’t just any salon. This was a salon full of seasoned & mature Hairdressers. Hairdressers that had been doing hair for 30+ years. What I loved about these Hairdressers in their 70’s was that they had maintained a bond and a connection with their clients for A LIFETIME. I wanted that. I can only hope to create a connection with the clients that I serve to last me literally an entire lifetime." Juan Lino believes our mission is to educate and uphold a very specific standard when it comes to Hairdressing.
A few fun facts: *I can tolerate extremely spicy foods. I often times eat fresh jalapeños whole, by themselves. I don’t know why. *I am a kimchi addict. All kinds. All the time. *I was born in North Carolina *I played the alto-sax in high school & I was in marching band *I have an incredible fear of heights, but love roller coasters. •His favorite how-to that he loves to share with his clients is: Ladies. Save yourself some time when blow-drying those locks by first power drying your hair until it’s 80% dry. Then go in with your Olivia Garden round brushes and start styling away. Also, DON’T CUT YOUR OWN BANGS. (Even during a pandemic) 👀 He absolutely CANNOT live without TIGI Copyright’s Colour Lustre Oil, Blow Out Balm & Work It by Catwalk.
What I love about my team more than ever is the fact that regardless of the situation we remain united, even during a crisis!
You can see Juan Lino for an amazing haircut & new style - but keep in mind, he is in the process of becoming a Total Concept Stylist to take care of all your hair needs!
