I read this trade paperback of Wynonna Earp comics yesterday, and I LOVED IT.
Beau Smith and Tim Rozon did a great job creating a story with characters fans know and love, along with new, equally well rounded characters. It’s so fun that the dialogue of many of the well-known characters is written so well, and so in character, that without even thinking about it, I heard the character’s voices from the show say the lines.
The illustrations are IMPECCABLE. Hernández does a fantastic job. Each panel is it’s own work of perfection. The art is stylized, but still so technically impeccable, which is something I have noticed some current comic book artists tend to struggle doing.
I continue to be impressed by anything and everything Wynonna Earp. This was a great way to start off my Reading Rush!
