Here I have my awesome client &  national level NPC figure competitor @lpetchlee1 performing a very effective Chinese Plank Pullover variation. Several years ago I introduced the Chinese Plank chest press and Chinese Plank pullover . Also for training programs that emphasize stability and muscle function check out my various programs on my website. 
The Chinese Plank is a great position for working the postural muscles particularly of the posterior chain. When combined with the single leg contralateral hip drive position, the effects and benefits are even greater. The single leg position combined with 90 degree knee flexion does wonders for instilling proper lower body alignment and contralateral glute activation that also transfers exceptionally well to sprinting mechanics for athletes.

If you want to further magnify the contralateral hip activation and resulting full body activation associated with the oblique slings, try adding in the mini band. Just be warned the level of glute activation, core recruitment, & rotary stability needed to dial these in is inordinately high. Performed with the bench in a longitudinal position as shown here further increases the core activation as there’s even greater rotational forces the lifter must resist to keep from falling off the bench.

It’s also worth noting that the incredibly high levels of full body tension does wonders for enhancing upper body mechanics. Combined with the Chinese plank it’s nearly impossible to perform these with anything other than perfect postural alignment which invariably improves shoulder function & glenohumeral joint stability. If you have trouble finding your technique on pullovers or chest presses definitely give this protocol a try.

Le plus gros avantage de la barre en Z, c'est la possibilité de travailler sur plusieurs prises (large, serrée,  pronation ou supination) en respectant l'axe naturel du poignet et de l'avant-bras. Excellent notamment si l'on veut travailler un peu plus lourd (la barre faisant en moyenne déjà 10kg). Autre avantage, pouvoir travailler de manière synchronisée les deux bras en meme temps, pour plus d'équilibre 😉

Happy Thursday everyone hope your week is going swimmingly so far and if not you’re nearly at the end of it 🙌🏼 •
If, like me, you’ve had trouble growing your biceps and your standard curls don’t seem to be cutting the mustard, then here are three of my favourite variations of the bicep curl for you to try!
•
1️⃣ Relaxed Wrist DB Curls - in this variation you make sure to keep your wrists back throughout the set. This takes your forearms out of the exercise and creates more of a focus on the biceps!
•
2️⃣ Seated EZ Curls - these are an amazing way to isolate your biceps and make sure they’re the ones doing all the work 🙌🏼 This can help you push past a plateau if you don’t feel a good bicep contraction during exercises 👌🏼
•
3️⃣ Rope Curls - because you’re using the rope attachment the weight is loaded on the inside of your wrists which makes it harder to get your palms towards the ceiling at the top of each rep. This can help to create a greater contraction as the biceps function isn’t only to flex the elbow but also to rotate the forearm!

If you’re struggling to see progress in your biceps, see if any of these exercises work for you and then stick with the ones that do, and keep working to increase your strength 💪🏼

Para isto, a pesquisa contou com a participação de 11 adultos jovens e utilizou como exercício a rosca direta, um dos exercícios mais clássicos para se fazer caretas.

Assim, os participantes foram submetidos a executar o exercício até a fadiga com dois tipos de cargas diferentes:
👉🏻 50% de 1RM
👉🏻 85% de 1RM

O que significa dizer que um indivíduo que aguenta fazer no máximo 1 repetição com carga de 20kg, pegou 10kg (50%) e 17kg (85%), e realizou o exercício até a fadiga.

Logo, durante a execução do exercício a face dos indivíduos foi sendo observada, constatando-se o que muitos já imaginavam:
🏅 Existe uma conexão muito forte entre os músculos da face e a progressão do exercício até a fadiga.
🏅 Quanto maior for esforço, maior recrutamento dos músculos faciais.

Desta forma, se você não faz nenhuma careta enquanto treina, talvez a intensidade do seu treino não esteja boa e/ou seu esforço está aquém do esperado.

Ich muss sagen, dass ich hier im Moment relativ wenig Motivation habe fitnessbezogene Posts zu verfassen 😅 Am liebsten würde ich nur irgendwelche gelungenen Bilder mit irgendeinem Motivationsspruch hochladen😂
Seitdem ich hier bin ist das Thema Fitness auch etwas in den Hintergrund gerückt (auch wenn ich noch 5 mal pro Woche trainieren gehe), insbesondere weil ich durch meinen Alltag auch mich nicht zu 100% darauf konzentrieren kann, was aber auch nicht so schlimm ist. Viel lieber beschäftige ich mich mit dem Thema Fotografie und mache hier schöne Bilder, aber ich glaube solche Phasen, in denen sich die Interessen verschieben gibt es auch mal 🤷🏾‍♂️
Bald kommt aber denke ich mal wieder ein bisschen Mehrwert rund um die Themen Training Ernährung 👍🏽💯

Inzwischen ist der vierte Tag in Athen fast vorbei und ich muss sagen, dass diese Stadt echt gewaltigt ist. Wir haben die letzten Tage so viel gesehen und doch war dies nur ein Bruchteil, was Athen zu bieten hat. Wir haben im Zentrum zwar die Hauptattraktionen abgearbeitet, was sich unter anderem auch in der Schrittebilanz widerspiegelt, aber das war auch nur ein kleiner Teil. Natürlich interessiert man sich auch nicht für alles, aber das Angebot ist wirklich unglaublich. Heute ging es zum Poseidontempel etwas außerhalb  der Stadt. Davon werden dann die Tage Bilder folgen, wenn nicht sogar schon in der Story 😁
Ich muss aber sagen, dass es einfach mal gut tut, einfach mal nicht über Training nachzudenken, sich aur die Kultur zu konzentrieren und sich dabei trotzdem fit zu halten 😅

Mit griechischer Gelassenheit gehe ich auch an diesen Minicut ran. Normalerweise ist es Ziel des Minicuts so viel Fett wie möglich in kürzester Zeit zu verbrennen, um einen möglichst langen effektiven Aufbau zu gewähren. Grundsätzlich habe ich das auch immer so durchgezogen, was man auch in meinen alten Beiträgen nachlesen kann. Allerdings bin ich insbesondere hier oft an dem Punkt an dem ich mich frage, ob Bodybuilding wirklich alles im Leben ist. Und im Moment würde ich dies auf jeden Fall verneinen. Natürlich braucht man Disziplin, um es auf einem gewissen Level betreiben zu wollen, aber ich denke nicht, dass man sich deswegen alles verbieten sollte 🤔
