Sometimes only nature can uplift me.
It's the most simple things in life that can also be the most effective in lifting your mood and bringing you back to what's important.
My mind swings from being sad about what is happening to the humans around the world , to also feeling gratitude that the earth itself is getting the chance to heal.
Even though my  business has closed temporarily and I miss touching people's hair and having heartfelt conversations, I know that this period of quiet will only be for a while so I'm using the time to have a wee retreat,stay grounded and embrace the time in which I can actually relax and be mindful.

One of the things which is keeping #me #sane in this #coronavirus #socialdistancing which I have been doing now more then 3 weeks, are my #solowalks 🏃🏽‍♀️#walking in area, away from public and if I do see someone I change direction and/or  give more then 10 feet space. As now it's been announced we might be in this for another 12 weeks in #toronto and even I know most of my peeps are staying home and #beingmindful some how the numbers of people infected due to #covid19 keep on increasing therefore to #flattenthecurve let's #stayhome and if we do #exercise #outdoors which is  great for the #wellbeing especially now, let's make sure we #staysolo and keep a lot of distance from others. Today we did nothing.  I was tired 😄 I just sat in the middle of the downside area of our pasture and spend time with the horses, watched them and enjoyed their contentment, watched them walking around, eating grass, going back uphill.. I love how calm and relaxed Jimmy becomes recently (energetic as always  at the same time but in a calmer way somehow) and i love how Willi just moves and moves, even in trot or canter, for no reason at all ❤ Just #intrinsicmotivation and an animating environment.  Lots of love for our paradise again and to Willi. He looked better today with his belly (less gas and slimmer) and of course happy and he gave me the impression that he wanted to make sure that i see it 😄🙏 .

There is a lot of chaos and uncertainty in the world right now and people’s lives have been turned upside down. I’ve been feeling guilty because life is pretty normal for me.
•
After wrestling with that for a few days and feeling bad about it, I’ve changed my mindset. Instead of feeling guilty I’ve pivoted to gratitude. •
I’m grateful for:
1. A business that allows me to still work. 
2. The crisis happening in the Spring and not during winter. 
3. Being able to connect with family and friends via FaceTime and Zoom. 
4. Creative solutions and thinking outside the box. 
5. Being able to help people, even though it’s only in a small way. •
A big shout out to everyone on the front lines and the amazing job they are doing. Love and prayers for all who are struggling, hurting, and feeling desperate. Stay strong! Be well! •

a mental state achieved by focusing awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.

These challenging times are taking a toll on us- physically, socially, economically, emotionally, and spiritually.
.
Many of us are stressed, anxious, frightened, even tearful or angry at times😢
.
This is our new normal, at least for the foreseeable future. So how can we cope?
.
Mindfulness is a practice which can help. I‘ve been doing Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for a few years and am fortunate to be completing certification in it through Mt Sinai School of Medicine.
.
MBSR has been shown not only to decrease stress and anxiety but also help in managing medical conditions like high blood pressure, heart disease♥️, chronic pain, sleep😴 , and GI issues.
.
So how can you train your mind to be mindful, to pay attention and be fully present in the moment?
.
Here are a few effective techniques to start with:
.
🧍🏻‍♀️Body scan- a guided meditation in which you focus on relaxing each part of the body, acknowledging comfort/discomfort, giving gratitude to each body part for doing its function.
⛰Imagery guided meditation - imagine your self being a mountain or sitting by a lake or a quiet beach 🏝 and take in all the sights, sounds and smells of the experience.
🥗Food meditation- choose to eat with purpose. Start with a raisin or orange 🍊First look at, smell it, feel its texture. Take a bite and chew slowly, experiencing the texture and flavor of food. You can do a few bites or eat a whole meal mindfully. You’ll enjoy your food more and eat less because you’ll feel full earlier.
🚶🏽‍♀️Walking meditation- walk barefoot and slowly for 5 min. Experience your feet touching the ground, shifting of your weight, your breath pattern as you walk.

* Fill with filtered water ⁣

if your nervous system detects threat of any kind (physical, mental, physiological, social, etc.) it will wisely, adaptively, launch automatic stress reactions—fight, flight, and freeze.

when this happens, blood flow to the most evolved parts of your brain is decreased.

your social engagement and rest-digest-connect brain regions are inhibited.

punchline: if you are in a stress state (whether you are aware of it or not), you do not have access to your highest, most creative, most evolved self.

the fix? figure out what’s unsafe.

it could be relationships threatening your autonomy or worthiness. could be a disease process creating stress biochemistry. could be unconscious patterns of self-betrayal. could be a job that makes you feel small and not cared for. could be a trauma reaction. so many things.

and that’s why the fix is a question—what’s unsafe? because it’s different for everyone. and today’s “unsafety” might be different from tomorrow’s.

if you feel stuck, distracted, disconnected, and just not at your best, get curious about what is unsafe for your system. that’ll lead you to what needs healing. 🌻

You know when you’re having one of those days where the little things keep piling up and you’re falling down a negative spiral? ⠀

Yeah, me too. I had a day like that recently. ⠀
⠀
I was using all my tools to get myself out of it but it wasn’t working. I repeated my mantra to myself, I reminded myself that I belong and I deserve to take up space, I worked out so I could release some energy and I was still slipping. I started taking things out on my friends and let me tell you, I was not pleasant to be around. ⠀
⠀
Finally, I took out my journal and started emptying all of my thoughts out on the paper. They started out very negative and self critical, and then the tears came. Everything was pouring out of me. ⠀
⠀
Want to know the most amazing part? ⠀
⠀
My mind naturally started shifting. ⠀
⠀
By releasing my negative thoughts and owning up to them I was able to move past them rather than trying to deny them and push them away. ⠀
⠀
After the critical and judgmental thoughts were on paper, I was able to look at them and get curious about where they were stemming from. ⠀
⠀
My ego tries to trick me and tell me that if I write down my negative thoughts they become real, when in actuality they already are. By writing them down I get them out of my head and I am free to think new thoughts. ⠀
⠀
We don’t have to believe all of our thoughts. I have to remind myself of that everyday. ⠀
⠀

This morning meditation was done outside. Our weather here in TN is beautiful, lots of sunshine ☀️, birds chirping🐦,and a cool breeze. As I was focusing on my breathing I could feel someone watching me and I looked over to see my Susie 🐶 just staring at me lol 
During these day’s of where my whole schedule is well off and we are adjusting to everyone being home I’m thankful for my quiet time. It’s much need to help refocus my thoughts and energy.

We have had many fast changes over the past couple of weeks, I hope that you have been able to find some peace for yourself and your children.

For us it went from hectic to now where we are slowing down and getting into a rhythm of school and fun and even a little me time. . 
A nice experiment to show your kids about change is to get a bunch of white flowers, some jars and food colouring.
🌸 fill jars with water and add a different colour food colouring to each
🌸 cut the stems of flowers at about 45° angle and place one or 2 in each jar
🌸 watch them change colour over the course of the next day or 2

Ram season is officially in full swing ♈
Life is very different than March 1st.
A lot has changed and I'm adjusting.
I moved cities on February 29th.
I started a new job just days after. 
And within two weeks, I was laid off and the beautiful cafe that I just started at was closed. 
I am still in a state of gratitude because I have my health. 
I am still in a state of gratitude for being 97 days sober. 💪
I am known for being insanely introverted BUT the social distancing is getting to me. I'm a very physical person and I haven't felt physical connection in what seems like weeks. I need a hug! A big one. ❤
I am grateful for our front line & essential workers. You bet I'm out there every night at 7pm banging my drum. It seems like the only way to fill our souls with human connection right now.
My 25th birthday will be spent on houseparty and I'm accepting that. I wanted to go big this year and take a vacation but I'm beyond grateful I did not book it 😂.
My family is close. Me, my mom, and my dad got to meet my brothers new lady over the balcony last night. Social distancing is the new norm and it hurts to see us have to love my brother from a distance but at the same time I'm grateful we are making it work. My mom is driving me up the wall but I'm grateful we have eachother. 
April will be a *different* month. I want to say challenging, but it will just be..... *different*. How has your life changed and how are you adapting? What are you grateful for during these unprecedented times? 💕🌸

Úgy látszik, hogy a várandósságot egy nadrágban és két pólóban fogom eltölteni, mikor megyek valahova, a Koronavírus miatt. Nem vagyok híve a netről való ruharendelésnek, a korlátozások előtt pedig még nem volt ekkora pocakom, hogy tudjak ruhákat venni. Bár most természetesen ez a legkisebb probléma!
Körülbelül két héttel ezelőtt éreztem az első baba-mozgást, amire egyértelműen azt tudtam mondani, hogy ez Ő! Nekem olyan érzés volt, mintha valaki a víz alatt nagyon közel elmenne a bőrömtől és érezném a bőrömön a vizet a víz alatt. Tudom, bonyolultan magyarázom, de nekem ilyen érzés volt legelőször. És nagyon lent éreztem csak és igazság szerint a mai napig is inkább ott,mivel a placenta elől helyezkedik el és felfogja a rúgásokat. Gyönyörű érzés! 
Itthon vagyok már három hete, amit elég nehezen viselek, mert aktív szerettem volna maradni mind a két munkámmal, mert azt mondják, hogy az nagyon sokat segít a szülésben és a felépülésben is, és úgy érzem, mivel a teherbeesesem előtt éppen nem edzettem, ezért most nem lenne jó elkezdeni a megeroltetobb feladatokat.
Minden egyes nap gondolok azokra, akik ott állnak tesztelésre várva, hogy pozitív vagy negatív az eredmény a koronavírusra. Azokra, akik megbetegedtek és nem tudják, hogy felepulnek-e vagy nem...borzalmas ez az egész helyzet...és én milyen szerencsés helyzetben vagyok, megtehetem, hogy itthon vagyok, mindenki vigyáz rám, a Vőlegényem, a Családom. Hálát adok mindenért!Azért, amim van és azért is, amim nincs!
Lélekben együtt vagyok azokkal, akik küzdenek a vírus megállításában, az orvosokkal, nővérekkel, akik tesztelik az embereket, eladókkal, idős emberekkel, virologusokkal, az országok vezetőivel, mindenkivel, aki küzd az életéért!
A szívem szakad meg, hogy az emberiségnek ilyen szörnyűségen kell átmenni,megtapasztalni!
Vigyázzatok nagyon magatokra mindannyian!

Our emotions are that of our very own energy in motion. ⠀
Acting out whatever it is that our subconscious mind is sorting through and grasping onto as truth even as that subconscious thought is most often no where near Real Truth...⠀
⠀
And we can observe that energy and inevitable emotions that follow there after to see if it has the tendency to trend closer to devotional energy or that of commotion type of energy.⠀
⠀
When I talk devotional energy all that means in this context is simply the type of energy that can surrender to the unknown.⠀
The kind of energy that can honor that we and in fact, all beings everywhere have one thing in common; ⠀
In our core, We Are Divine ✨⠀
⠀
So, simply having the power to bring observation and awareness towards what our energy leans to, whether conscious or subconscious, is absolutely phenomenal!!⠀

The power lies not with whether or not we trend more towards devotional energy vs commotional energy,⠀
⠀
Nope 👎🏼⠀
⠀
The True Power is being able to See it with clear eyes and a heart that is absent of judgment for what it is we see...⠀
⠀
The rest will work itself out as long as we keep our awareness honest and alive ♥️

Είναι πολύ σημαντικό τη στιγμή που θα συνδεθείς με εσένα να μην υπάρχει τίποτα που να επηρεάζει και να αποσπά την προσοχή σου από αυτή την όμορφη εμπειρία. Σε αυτή την περίπτωση ο πρωινός διαλογισμός βολεύει ακόμη περισσότερο, μιας και μπορείς να συνεχίσεις από τον ύπνο φορώντας τις πυζάμες σου.

4. Χρησιμοποίησε την αναπνοή και την καθοδήγησή σου.
Μπες στην καθοδήγηση της αναπνοής σου, χρησιμοποιώντας το Μαγικό Τρίπτυχο: Σώμα – Πνεύμα – Συνειδητότητα. Όταν ενεργοποιείς τη σύνδεσή σου μαζί τους όλα παίρνουν τον δρόμο σου. Αυτή είναι η αρχή, έτσι ώστε η σύνδεση αυτή να ενδυναμώνεται μέσα από τον Διαλογισμό και να συνεχίζει μέσα στη διάρκεια της ημέρας!

Such a great post! We are all on this rollercoaster together. It has been so up and down. I have noticed this with my own mental health and have had to really slow down, check in with myself and notice what I needed to get me through. I am getting through one day at a time. .

The ovaries have two main reproductive functions in the body.. They produce oocytes (eggs) for fertilisation and they produce the reproductive hormones, oestrogen and progesterone. All important for creating babies and part of the healthy cycle for any woman 👶🏻👶🏻⁣

Today when I asked in my polls, about 60% of people said they didn’t know what their ovaries do, I found that alarming 😳80% said they have never questioned products they use in relation to there ovaries. I wondered why not when they are probably the most important thing in a woman’s body - they are the source of life. ⁣

In 2012 a study was conducted to look into why there has been a depletion of follicles (eggs) leading to an increase in infertility and impaired function of the menstrual cycle. They wanted to look at the link and impact of environmental exposures on ovarian function and ovotoxicity. ⁣

Ovotoxicants are are characterised as toxic chemicals that are having an impact on the normal body processes of our ovaries and what the biggest concern seems to be is that the toxins when they reach this area, stay in this area and have trouble detoxifying from the cells and body. ⁣

Dear friends, hope everyone's keeping well and sane during the lockdown! many a time we have all wished for a break or for things to go at a slower pace. Aaaand we are privileged enough to have adequate food, shelter and access to resources during the lockdown to actually use this time for personal growth and reflection. 
So I would urge everyone to treat this as a once in a lifetime opportunity to hit the pause and reflect button and use the time wisely. Think holistically about your lives, invest time in understanding your areas of work and interests and think about where you want to head. Restart a hobby, read a book, register for an online course....but do something productive.

And also please do think about your individual ecological footprint. We are in the situation we are in because of the massive abuse of natural resources. We can ALL do our bit, by making small but vital changes to our lifestyles and by being more mindful and compassionate in every aspect of our lives.
