Did you know...
Hair is a distinguishing characteristic of mammals. The hair follicle is a dynamic organ found in the dermal layer of mammalian skin.
The hair follicle produces different types of hair as seen on different parts of the body. The hair that grows on the scalp is called TERMINAL HAIR.
The process of hair growth occurs in distinct sequential stages: 1) the anagen stage is the active growth phase; 2) the catagen stage is the resting stage; and 3) the telogen stage is the regression of the hair follicle phase; 4) the exogen stage is the active shedding of hair phase; and 5) the kenogen stage is the phase between the empty hair follicle and the growth of new hair.
The hair follicle being an organ, its care, like any other organ, starts at the cellular level. Cellular health determines the quality, quantity and vitality of hair. We cannot stress enough the importance of cellular scalp & hair care.
The active botanical scalp & hair mask is formulated to penetrate and target the hair follicle and root to restore, repair and rejuvenate cellular function.
