Banana Cream Tart 🍌Sometimes I Pin a recipe on @pinterest
and think to myself, I am totally making that this week. And then I go back and maybe I am missing an ingredient or maybe it feels like too much work. I’ll share all of my short cuts with this little dessert. Like the rest of us I was wandering through the store amazed at how much food was sold out all together. I checked out the Kosher Frozen case and found these frozen @ungers_premium
pastry shells. Next I picked up one box of @jello
brand banana cream pudding. And grabbed a bag of @ghirardelli
milk chocolate chips along with a tub of @coolwhip
I had a bundle or ripe bananas at home along with caramel sauce & chocolate shavings. This came together so quickly and everyone loved the Carmel chocolate banana flavor. The original recipe with homemade crust, filling and whipping cream can be found @littleepicurean
which looks amazing! If you are having a gathering and you want to make the guests smile this is an easy snack. Who doesn’t love a tart? 🥰
🍌Short Cut Recipe:
tart crust shells
banana cream pudding
1/2 c chocolate chips melted
Carmel sauce to drizzle
2 bananas sliced
Chocolate shavings - optional.
Bake or smoke tart shells 15-20 min at 350 per package directions
Mix Banana cream Jello pudding mix with milk and stir
Melt chocolate chips in the microwave and brush them into the cooked shells.
Then add pudding.
Top with sliced banana
Drizzle caramel sauce
Top with cool whip and chocolate shavings. .
Satisfy your sweet tooth and give this a shot! If you can’t find the tart shells in the kosher aisle at your store you could also use pie crust in a mini muffin pan.
